Barcelona boss Luis Enrique says his treble-chasing players face a “complicated” test in the first of two games that could shape their season.

Leaders Barca are away at fifth-placed Sevilla on Saturday before visiting Paris St-Germain in the Champions League quarter-final next Wednesday.

“There is a rival on the other side that hasn’t lost a game at home in a long time,” said Enrique about Sevilla.

“They play at a top level using their weapons well.”

Barcelona, who are also in the final of the Copa del Rey, start the weekend four points clear of nearest rivals Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga table, with eight matches remaining.

The next few days could go a long way to deciding whether they can repeat their feat of 2008-09 when Pep Guardiola’s team clinched aEuropean and domestic treble.

Sevilla are unbeaten at home in La Liga since 9 February 2014 whenBarca ran out 4-1 winners.

In addition, they have won the last five league games and may even pip Atletico Madrid and Valencia to a Champions League berth.

“It is one of the most complicated teams to face away,” added Enrique, who played down concerns about the future of defender Dani Alves.

Four-time La Liga winner Alves, who played for Sevilla before moving to Barca in 2008, could leave the Catalan club this summer after his manager and ex-wife Dinorah Santana told reporters on Thursday that negotiations on a new contract for the player were over.

“Barca players are experts when it comes to living alongside controversy, debates, rumour,” said Enrique.

“This does not affect them.”
