Ghanaian songstress, Becca, real name Rebecca Akosua Acheampong joined the children at the Autism Awareness Care and Training centre in Kokomlemle for a walk to create awareness on Easter Thursday, April ,02, 2015.
Becca joined the children with Autism at the Autism centre which is managed by Mrs. Serwaa Quaynor to show love and support for the children.
She took to her Instagram to remind her teaming followers about the day and the need for ‘acceptance’ awareness.
“Today is set aside for Autism Awareness. I joined a team from the Autism centre for a walk to create ‘acceptance’ awareness for our lovely brothers and sisters with Autism. #ITISNOTADISEASE #AUTISMACCEPTANCE”
The exercise saw Becca, supporters and the children match through some principal streets in Accra to create more awareness of the syndrome to the general public.
