Man murders younger brother on Good Friday

Residents of Ahoe; a suburb of Ho in the Volta Region were thrown into a state of shock and agony when a man allegedly murdered his younger brother in the early hours of Good Friday.

[contextly_sidebar id=”XUff4uGZulcbEqUDzJiij8hLO6F14eQx”]According to an eyewitness, the two brothers; George Agbinku and Freeman Agbinku who are always at each other’s throats were seen quarreling on Thursday night.

The eldest of the two, George Agbinku subsequently threatened to kill Freeman.

After the fierce fight, they both went to bed in a room they shared together.

The eyewitness added that after hours of stillness, a strange sound was heard in their room which drew the attention some residents.

The curious neighbours rushed to the room and saw the lifeless body of Freeman Agbinku ina pool of blood with his elder brother squatting close by.

The suspect has since been arrested together with two other ladies to assist the Police in further investigations.

The Ho Municipal Police Commander, ASP Benedicta Abboah-Offie who confirmed the homicide to Citi News said the body of the deceased have been deposited at the morgue.
