A joint operation by the Police and the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI), has led to the arrest of three drivers and some toll booth attendants at the Senchi Ferry site in the Eastern Region.

[contextly_sidebar id=”wLgV3mHh7SwTWkxijuGL2bq9KxYj9kJn”]The suspects have been accused of stashing away proceeds from the ferry site meant for the state.

The operation follows reports of a syndicate that connived with commuters to dupe the state.

The arrest revealed that attendants in most cases allow the drivers to pay far less than they are expected to pay.

The practice is reported to be depriving the site operators of funds hence the operations.
