nppAll is set for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) national delegates conference scheduled for April 12 in Tamale.

Various committees put in place to handle accommodation, feeding, security and other issues have accomplished their tasks.

The regional secretariat has also completed its budget proposal and submitted to the National Executive Committee for approval.

Northern Regional Secretary of the NPP, Sule Salifu told Citi News the congress will be a success.

“Everything is set and from all indications from the headquarters all is set for a successful congress.”

“Transportation issues have been resolved, all the hotels in Tamale have been booked and all the boarding secondary schools have been given to us by the regional directorate of the Ghana Education Service.”

He said the regional NPP leadership was in constant touch with the state security agencies, especially the police high command in Tamale.

Sule Salifu added that the regional Electoral Commission was satisfied with the arrangements and that electoral materials for the conference were secured.

“We have had a series of meetings with the Electoral Commission regional directorate on the designated polling stations, where the delegates will be seated, where observers will be seated and the routes they will follow to go and cast their votes.”

On the allocation of resources for the conference, the Northern Regional NPP Chief Scribe said a budget proposal was forwarded to the National Executive Committee for approval.
