The year 2018 has already started great for tens of customers of AirtelTigo in various communities across the country as they received their winning prizes from the ongoing ‘Win Everyday’ promotion.
The prizes include cash rewards and premium mobile handsets such as iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy A5.
“When I received a phone call from AirtelTigo informing me that I had won, I was both surprised and excited. This is really a dream come true for me,” exclaimed James Kwaku Nyarkoh, who sells mobile handsets and airtime in Amasaman, a suburb of Accra, after he received his cash winnings of GHS3,000 and GHS1,000.”
Amanda Abban was also thrilled to receive GHS1,000. “I saw the promotion on my phone through a text message which asked customers to answer questions to gain points. I am so happy I won.”
Since December 20th, 2017 when the promotion started, over 60 customers have received various prizes, including the daily cash of GHS1,000, a weekly cash of GHS3,000, a monthly cash of GHS5,000 and a touch screen laptop. Over the Christmas and New Year holidays, some customers also won iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy A5 handsets.
Customers of AirtelTigo can participate in the promotion by sending START to short code 470 for 40 pesewas daily and then answer a series of questions to accumulate points. A win is only guaranteed if a customer attained the highest accumulated points for each day, week or month.
The AirtelTigo ‘Win Everyday’ promotion will end on 19th April 2018, with a grand prize of GHS100,000 for the ultimate winner, followed by the second prize of GHS75,000 and the third prize of GHS50,000 cash.
