Volta 4 Change , a pro-opposition group in the Volta Region, is set to organize a series of fora to educate residents of the region on the need to make informed choices going into the November 7 elections.
The group is of the view that the incumbent NDC administration has not served the Volta Region and the country well, hence their decision to educate as many people as possible to help them make an informed choice for any other party.
“If we keep voting for a party that has enjoyed power more than any other party in the history of Ghana, why should we be in poverty? It doesn’t make sense”, said Eyram Doe, the President of the group.

“Volta 4 change is the group that is going to embark on political education of the masses, telling them; you vote for government based on this and that is what you should expect”.
When asked what he makes of the development projects ongoing in the region under the ruling NDC, Eyram claimed the physical structures are not impacting the lives of the people.
“It’s not about the structures. We the youth need job to do. You think sharing cloth and utensils to our parents makes a difference. If we are productively employed, we can buy cloth as many as we can for our parents”
The group has its slogan in the Ewe dialect, ‘medezor na trotro’, which literally means movement for change.
