The Supreme leader of the Kotokoli tribe in Ghana, Wuro Dauda Cheddere Brenae has embarked on a nationwide peace tour.
His mission is to rekindle the spirit of peaceful co-existence in Kotokoli communities in Ghana.
Wuro Dauda Cheddere Brenae as part of his tour paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini at the Regional Coordinating Council.
He implored Kotokolis in Ghana to remain law-abiding during and after the upcoming general elections.
“The conduct of the youth is critical in this election year and that is why we the Kotokolis should ensure that our members stay away from any trouble.”
“Kotokolis should be a source of hope, reassurance and encouragement to each and everyone in their traditional areas where they live,” Wuro Dauda maintained.
He commended government for extending electricity to their communities in the Kpandai district.
The Deputy Regional Minister praised the Kotokolis supreme leader for his exemplary leadership.
He said Kotokolis in the northern region are peace loving people and urged them to remain focused.
Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini touted government’s achievements in the region and assured residents of more infrastructural expansion.
He condemned internet fraud locally known as Sakawa and asked the youth to desist from it.
