Reports indicate that one of the aspirants in the Parliamentary Primaries of the governing National Democratic Congress in the Klottey Korley constituency, Zanetor Rawlings cannot find her name in the constituency’s voters’ register.
According to Citi News’ Kwame Botchway, Zanetor went to the Tudu Central Mosque polling station in the constituency to “sort out certain issues with the register”
Sources close to the party have confirmed that the daughter of former Ghanaian President Jerry John Rawlings has not yet voted.
Zanetor is contesting the incumbent Nii Armah Ashitey and Leeford Kpakpo Quarshie to represent the party in next year’s general elections.
The party appears to be having challenges with the expanded electoral college and the use of the biometric voters’ register across various constituencies in the country.
