The Victory Bible Church International has marked their 30th anniversary with a call on Ghanaians to have faith in God in times of challenges.
The event was symbolically marked on the churches 210 acre land at Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region.
The land has been earmarked for the construction of a university and a Bible School. Thousands of congregants from across the ten regions of Ghana and the churches America and Europe branches converged to give thanks to God.
Preaching on the topic the ‘divine narrative’, the Presiding Bishop of the Victory Bible Church International Bishop Tackie-Yarboi urged Christians to seek the help of God in all their activities.
He advised them not to attribute their successes to their human strength and effort but to give thanks to God in times of success and failure.
‘With him there is Mercy. David said it is not my strength, it is not my wisdom, he said, it is God that gave me wisdom and strength to kill the lion, to kill the bird, so it is not about David, but it is about His God’, he said.
Bishop Tackie Yarboi also encouraged the congregation not to give up when confronted with challenges but rather place their burdens to God.
