Media practitioner, Gifty Anti has shot down reports that she plans to contest for a parliamentary seat in the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Parliamentary primaries.
The Daily Guide newspaper on Tuesday listed a number of known personalities who will be participating in the NPP primaries.
The paper mentioned among others, Gifty Anti, the former host of Joy FM’s super morning show Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Lawyer Egbert Fabille and editor of the Daily Searchlight newspaper.
Gifty Anti posted on her Facebook page that such reports were false, saying though she “feels honored” to represent her people, “this is not the time to do so.”

“Thank you very much and I hope you still love me as Gifty Naana Afia Dansoa Anti, the journalist, Gender Advocate and Activist. Much love”
