Kwaw Kese had been shuffling between jail and the hospital since his arrest and pleaded with the judge to grant him bail after the incident.
He has since pleaded not guilty in the matter even though the prosecution said in one of the court appearances that medical tests on the musician have revealed he had smoked the substance.
Meanwhile, Kwaw Kese has started a campaign against the use of illicit drugs, warning the youth against using such dangerous drugs.
