Some shops at Ashiman Lebanon were razed down by fire on Tuesday.
An eyewitness, Patrick Kojo Danso, told Citi News that fire gutted only four shops following a swift response from the Ghana Fire Service.
He said the incident happened when a generator belonging to a drinking spot exploded.

The open fire lit the generator and the whole place caught fire and almost about four shops were burnt down,” he said.
He further revealed that one of the shops gutted by fire was made of a wooden structure while the rest were containers.
“The drinking spot was a wooden structure and the three were container shops and fortunately the fire service got there quickly and controlled it and so other closed shops around were saved.”
Officials from the Fire Service are yet to determine how much money was lost in the fire.
There have been several reported fire incidents during this Harmattan season including the Central Medical Stores at the Tema industrial area which were razed down by fire last Tuesday.
