The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr Kwabena Adjei has urged party members not to use the crucial moment of electing new national executives to experiment.
He made the comment when he addressed delegates at the ongoing National Delegates Congress in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
“On this occasion, I want to appeal to you all that this is not a time for experimentations but a time demanding experience, goodwill and this is a time that we must know that we cannot buy the entire Ghanaian electorate. We have to work, so therefore we must not sleep, we have to use our creative intelligence instead of money,” he said.

“We have come a long way from 1992 and we are going to go a long from now way into the future. It tends on all of us to see the best way to chart our future forward. When we meet alone and not in public, we should have to tell ourselves the hard truth about what is happening to our social democratic party and agenda,” he said.
He also encouraged the party members and supporters to dedicate themselves to achieving success in the 2016 national election adding, “On this occasion I wish to remind you that together with the executives of our party, we have held our hands and chalked two successive victories and we want to chalk the next one.”
“With the aged and the youths we can make 2016 as easy as we had made the previous years,” he added.
The party’s incumbent National Chiarman earlier stated that he was confident of victory in the congress.
He described strategies being deployed by his opponents to unseat him as “chicken strategies”
