The Ghana Education Service (GES) has said it will not address the issues raised by the Coalition of Concerned Teachers (CCT) until it is given an official notice.
The Coalition at a press conference last week gave their employers a three-week ultimatum to address their grievances or face their wrath.
Some of their grievances include the delay in payment of transfer grants, the non–payment of their second tier pension scheme, among others.
Speaking to Citi News, the acting Director of GES, Charles Aheto Tsegah said the Service has not yet received any official notification from the CCT over their ultimatum.

According to him, the GES will only be able to act on the Coalition’s concerns if it forwards its grievances to them.
“If they haven’t informed us then I haven’t seen it and I will do nothing about it for now because I don’t have any information about what they want unless I’m informed and notified about their specific needs, then I will go ahead and start doing something about it,”he noted.
