Northern Regional wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nasara club has called for restoration of the scrapped voluntary service which was beneficial to Arabic Instructors in Zongo Communities.
Abdul Rahaman Samari, Tamale Central Nasara Coordinator of the Nasara Club on behalf of his colleagues in the 31 constituencies in the region made the call at a news conference in Tamale.
The erstwhile NPP administration introduced the voluntary service as a subsidiary to the National Service Scheme (NSS) to support Arabic Instructors across the country.
It was recently scrapped and reports have it that most of the beneficiaries in English and Arabic Schools in the Northern Region have abandoned the classrooms and left for greener pastures in major cities in the southern sector of Ghana.

Abdul Rahaman Samari extolled Nana Akufo-Addo for deepening national inter-religious dialogue by retaining Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as his trusted running mate.
