The Citi FM’s Heritage Month series is still ongoing. For the whole month of March, 97.3 Citi FM is celebrating Ghana’s unique cultural heritage in a series of discussions and on-air programming.
The ongoing week one discussions are centered on the Ghanaian Music Industry.
The initiative has attracted glowing commendations from some of Ghana’s finest musicians.
M.anifest, the award winning rapper, took to social networking site twitter to applaud the station.
“Kudos to Citi973 for the series they’re doing on Ghana music & the Ghana music “industry” this week. More honest tings for come out,” he tweeted.
Ace highlife musician, Bessa Simons, also commended the station thus “Citi FM is doing a wonderful job. They seem to be the only station that is playing only Ghanaian music throughout their programming. The discussions are also on point. Kudos Citi FM.”
Other very respected personalities who have praised Citi FM include Bice Osei Kufour, President of MUSIGA, Kwaku Adjei-Fosu, Deputy Director of the National Development Planning Commission, Okyeame Kwame, a Musician among others.
