Unidentified young men frequently invade the girls’ dormitory of Mawuli School in Ho, to harass the students.

Mr Gameli Ahorlu, Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Chairman of the School told a general meeting of the Association on Saturday.
He described the situation as worrying and underscored the need for the PTA to raise the fence wall with a security device to protect the girls.
A female tutor also said that quite often, the girls shout for help claiming to have spotted men around their dormitories.
She said last term; two men were arrested near the female dormitory smoking a substance believed to be Indian hemp.
The tutor said a female student recently escaped narrowly with a torn nightgown having been attacked by a young man while walking towards the urinal at dawn.
A third year female student also narrated that sometimes, unidentified young men write their mobile phone numbers on the dormitory doors and walls, inviting the female students for sex.
