The Adisadel College in Cape Coast woke up to tragedy Sunday when one of its tutors was found hanging on a tree behind his bungalow.
The lifeless body of Mr Appiah Menka, about 58 years and an English tutor at the school was found dead by his colleagues at 6am.
Mr Menka’s body was found on a mango tree a few meters from a bungalow he shared with two other teachers.
Witnesses at the scene when the Daily Graphic got there said Mr Menka had a note explaining his action.
The police have confirmed the incident and said they are investigating.
Mr Menka’s fellow teachers did not seem to know much about his private life. They said, however, that he was a good English tutor and that he lived a quiet life.
