Works on roads from Bomfa junction to Asiwa to Bekwai in the Ashanti region are progressing steadily as mentioned by the President.
In the State of the Nation’s Address, President John Dramani Mahama made mention of major projects ongoing in the Ashanti region, of which roads from Bomfa junction to Asiwa and to Bekwai was included.
Checks on the roads found fully asphalted roads from Bomfa junction to Asiwa. However, road markings and this road has not been done.
Also, road from Asiwa to Bekwai is still underway.
Speaking to some drivers who ply the road daily, they confessed that fixing the road has done a great deal to them since they no longer have to dodge potholes.
They expressed gratitude to the government for the work done.
