As May 3, 2014 draws near, most nominees for this Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) festival have shifted their campaign into top gear to ensure they walk away with honours at this year’s edition.
Come Saturday, April 5, all roads lead to Tamale Sports Stadium, where some selected nominated artistes would be rocking music lovers and their teeming fans to a grand jam.
To mount the stage on the night would include Castro, Bisa Kdei, Edem, Stonebwoy, Joyce Blessing, Sarkodie, Samini and a host of others.
The Tamale concert is absolutely free and expected to attract thousands of music lovers. It is the first of a series of nominee jams and parties to be held around the country. The nominees jam affords organisers the opportunity to involve a greater part of the country in the VGMA festival.
This year’s award is proudly supported by Accra Brewery Limited, Golden Tulip Hotel, Alisa Hotel, KPMG – the event statisticians and GhOne TV.
