President John Dramani Mahama in his third State of the Nation address touched on a myriad of issues  from the economy to power, announcing government’s plans to invest GH¢1 billion in roads across the country.

This according to President Mahama is the single largest intervention in the road sector in the history of Ghana.

“… The project would see investments of about GH¢1 billion in roads commencing this year and ending in 2019 during my second term in office. These projects will be funded with a mix of Cocoa Infrastructure Fund financing and government of Ghana budgetary support,” he said.

Below is a word cloud of the the President’s State of the Nation address. Among the words spoken most by the president were “Ghana,” “Road”, “Feeder” and “Bitumen”. He also used the phrase “Mr. Speaker” in most of his statements.
