KT Hammond wants to ruin me – Oteng Adjei

Former Energy Minister, Oteng Adjei has revealed that the Minority spokesperson person on Energy, KT Hammond is working to tarnish his image.

[contextly_sidebar id=”kPRAOygbJwJ7onvw6h1kgmBV1UEacWsd”]Oteng Adjei has been widely criticized for keeping a luxurious vehicle bought with money for an electrification project even after he was reassigned to the Ministry of Environment and Science.

The issue was revealed by KT Hammond.

Though Oteng Adjei subsequently returned the vehicle but KT Hammond further revealed that he still has another government vehicle in his possession.

Provoked by the seeming expose on him, Oteng Adjei on Accra based Joy FM lamented that “…I don’t know what I have done against him,  has a special agenda to tarnish my image.”

He further decried the stiff opposition he had received from KT Hammond in recent times.

“The Bible says that your integrity will protect you, my integrity in the Lord I serve and the way I have lived my life in this country will protect me,” he noted in an interview on Accra based Joy Fm.

On why he took the luxurious vehicle even after being reassigned Dr Adjei explained he took the decision based on an agreement between the two Ministries.

He said it was because the the financial situation of  the Ministry of Environment and Science “was a bit difficult.”
