Liberia is expected to reopen its borders following a decline in the number of Ebola cases being reported in the country.
President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf who made the announcement on Friday said nationwide curfews would also be lifted.

But health officials warned the reduction has levelled off in the last month.
Borders were closed down in 2014 and an overnight curfew was imposed as part of measures to halt a further spread of the disease.
Schools in Liberia have also reopened in recent weeks in a bid to help the country return to normal while staff have been given thermometers to take pupils’ temperatures and buckets of chlorinated water for them to wash their hands.
Meanwhile Ghana’s government has lifted the ban on the organisation of international conferences in the country.
A statement issued Febuary, 19th, 2015 and signed by the Minister for Communications, Dr. Omane Boamah, said government has lifted the ban forthwith until otherwise directed.
“The moratorium placed on the holding of International Conferences in Ghana on account of the recent Ebola outbreak in the sub-region, has been lifted forthwith until otherwise directed,” the statement indicated.
