The General Overseer of the Liberty House Christian Center, Prophet Luke Barson has attributed the current challenges confronting the country to the growing immorality and lack of discipline among the citizenry.

He therefore challenged Christians to stand up and restore discipline in the country if they are truly the light of the world as stated by the Bible.
“We cannot continue to behave the way we behave and expect that things will change for the better, we are loosing our morals and becoming indiscipline each passing day and I dare say unless we restore back our morals and ensure discipline among the citizenry we as a people will continue to blame everybody but ourselves for our problems,” he stressed.
Prophet Barson said these at a non denominational church service organized by the Students Christian Council (SCC) as part of the Student Representative Council (SRC) week celebrations of the Wa campus of the University for Development Studies (UDS) on Sunday.
He urged parents and Ghanaians in leadership positions to imbibe in their children good moral values that will make them responsible and position them well to contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s socio-economic development.
He maintained “this country can only develop on the wings of discipline and good moral people and each and every one of us owe it a duty to promote these values and find a way to co-exist to protect God’s agenda”.
The general overseer donated musical instruments valued at GH¢6500 to the SCC.
Dr. Issac Agemang, dean of Integrated Development Studies at the UDS who doubles as patron of the SCC thanked prophet Luke Barson for the gesture.
