The suspects are Kwadwo Effah, 28; Isaac Ofosu, 24; Yaw Asiedu, 25; Dennis Ofori, 20; and Kofi Adu, 31.
According to DCOP Tetteh Yohuno, the leader of the gang Nathaniel Adu and two other accomplices are on the run.
“The same modus operandi that was used to perpetuate their evil intentions in Accra were used in Kumasi. The gang as a result of that, hired a bigger Kia truck all the way from Tema to Kumasi to facilitate their operations,” he said.

The arrest, he said, was as a result of a collaboration between the Accra and Ashanti Regional Commands adding that “the five are currently in Police custody assisting Police in investigations.”
