Despite the growing skepticism among Ghanaians over how soon the energy crisis would end, government has moved to assure citizens that the problem will go away sooner than later.
The Minister of Communications, Edward Omane Boamah announced on his facebook page that President Mahama will embark on a working visit to the Akosombo Dam today[Thursday].
He admonished Ghanians to bare with the government and that they are working assiduously to solve the challenge.

This is the second time the President has embarked on a similar working visit this week, to ascertain the cause of the worsening power crisis and put in place measures to address it.
President Mahama on Tuesday paid a working visit to the Sunon Asogli Power Plant, the Cenit Thermal Power Plant and the VRA Thermal Plant all located at Kpone near Tema.
During his visit, he expressed confidence that Ghana would make it out of the current energy crisis it is experiencing.
He noted that some key power plants in the country will soon be back on stream to compliment the ones in operation.
