The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) is set to make public, its position on the current load shedding exercise later today.

[contextly_sidebar id=”QBs5qgopLsJjw4EyuUDdOkhJBz7KxoUn”]The communiqué comes after a three day meeting with the Power Ministry over the weekend on a possible review of the load shedding exercise.

The meeting was called following complaints by the Association about the non-adherence of power distributor Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to the load-shedding time table.

The Minister of Power Dr. Kwabena Donkor during a press briefing on Monday said industry has been directed to shed about one third of power they receive to allow for the country to be able to contain the power situation, promising an end to the power crises by the close of the year.
