The office of former President John Agyekum Kufour has denied reports that former first lady Madam Theresa Kufour is dead.

Media reports earlier today had indicated that the former first lady died Wednesday afternoon after a short illness.

However Spokesperson for the former president, Frank Agyekum has denied the reports, adding that Mrs. Kufour is well and presently at home.

“l can tell you categorically that, Mrs. Kufour is doing well as we speak. She is not dead; she is at home going about her duties”

Mr. Agyekum wondered by such a wicked rumor will be making the rounds “l wonder who is behind this, but take it from me she is not dead” he added.

President Kufour governed Ghana for eight years with Mrs. Kufour serving as the nation’s first lady during that period.
