Gov’t to begin Cape Three Points gas project

President John Mahama and Vice President K. B. Amissah-Arthur on Tuesday witnessed a ceremony to announce the commencement of the Offshore Cape Three Points Integrated Oil & Gas Development.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                      The ceremony http://pharmacy-no-rx.net/cialis_generic.html which took place at the Peduase Lodge at Aburi was attended by officials of the OCTP partners, ENI and VITOL, the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), officials of the Ministries of Energy and Finance, Financial Institutions and several other industry players.

President Mahama said in his remarks that “the Gas that we expect will be able to power an additional 1,100MW of power for Ghana. That is more than Akosombo. Akosombo is 1,020 MW and this gas will be sufficient to power 1,100MW. We expect that this field’s viable life should last between 15 and 20years.”
