The Nkwanta South District Chief Executive (DCE), Peter Kojo Kenyeso who was murdered has been laid to rest.
Citi News ‘Graham Machintosh reported that hundreds of mourners on Saturday turned up at the RC park at Nkwanta in the Volta Region to pay their last respect to the DCE.
The late DCE, was was shot by unknown gunmen at his home in November 2014.
The police during their investigations arrested about eight persons.
According to Machintosh, there was massive police presence in the area to ensure adequate security.
Meanwhile the DCE for Akatsi North District Assembly, James Gun has suggested that the stretch of the Eastern road corridor that passes through the Nkwanta South Township should be named after the late DCE.
