The Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) has confirmed February 11 2015 as the new date for the upcoming elections of GHAMRO Board members.

[contextly_sidebar id=”PXLXmDg6SXiodTLI0NVA7KQZXjkgrtI9″]The announcement follows the postponement of the elections, which could not to come off on the 6th of December 2014, due to an interlocutory injunction sought by Rex Boateng, George Dickson and others.

The venues for the elections are the CIBT (Social Adance) – adjacent Teachers Hall Accra, Kumasi Cultural Centre – Apatakese Ase and the Tamale Cultural Centre.

GHAMRO has also reviewed their membership from 7000 to 3850 members, after ‘dismembering’ those who have not met their membership criteria.
