The Black Stars have lost their opening match against the Teranga Lions of Senegal in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

The Black Stars took the lead in the 15th minute after captain of the day, Dede Ayew scored through a penalty but the Senegalese cancelled Ghana’s lead 57th minute.

This was after the Senegal goalkeeper brought down midfielder Christian Atsu in the penalty area.

Midfielder Jordan Ayew, who seems to be having a good game, delivered a defense-splitting-pass which put Atsu through for the penalty.
