cal bankk logoCiti News has gathered that the Cal Bank customer, Nathaniel Nortey who was shot by a police officer on duty at the bank’s Derby Avenue branch in Accra on March 8, 2014 has started processes to sue the bank, the police officer in question and the Ghana Police Service.

A close family member of Nathaniel  told Citi News that his lawyer will complete the filing process latest by close of day Monday.

Two customers sustained injuries when the police officer on duty opened fire in the banking hall after a confrontation with a customer, Nathaniel Nortey.

The Police administration subsequently took the CCTV  footage of the incident from the bank for investigations.

The officer in question, Corporal Bernard Frimpong was subsequently detained by the Police administration.
