Nine-month-old baby dies from Osu fire

The nine-month-old baby who suffered burns in the fire at Osu on Friday has reportedly died from the injuries.

She sustained the burns after being trapped in a room during the fire, which killed a six-year old girl.

The deputy Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ghana National Fire Service, Prince Anaglatey, told Citi News: The [9-month-old baby], received some burns but she is also recouping. When I was at the hospital, they had treated her but she has to be sent to Korle Bu.”

Two other children escaped unhurt from the blaze which reportedly started at 8 am on Friday.
