The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2016 vice Presidential candidate has called for national unity to move the nation forward in the right direction.

[contextly_sidebar id=”6auERolvF7ODo1KHywWqa41X0H0giORn”]Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia made the call at his Kperiga private residence in Walewale, district capital of the West Mamprusi District.

He maintained that the nation can only develop in an atmosphere of political tolerance.

Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia therefore underscored the need for all the major players in the political arena to avoid political vendetta.

He passionately appealed to God to help the nation overcome her economic challenges.

“We hope that the good lord continues to bless us, give us healthy lives, prosperity and hopefully a solution to a lot of the problems we are facing in the country today in 2015,” he said.
