The Northern regional organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has asked the party’s delegates to reject all incumbent executives who are seeking re-election.
Wumbei claimed Dr. Kwabena Adjei’s team has outlived its usefulness for which reason none of the old executives seeking re-election at the upcoming national delegates congress should be retained in office.

He regretted that there was no hardcore contender to outwit Asiedu Nketiah at the Kumasi congress but quickly predicted that he will not have a landslide victory.
He accused the NDC General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah of managing the party like his limited liability company.
Wumbei posited that President John Dramani Mahama worked extra hard to win the 2012 general elections due to weak leadership at the national level.
Wumbei emhasized that the NDC needed complete overhaul at the national level to retain power in 2016.
