The prime suspect alleged to have murdered the branch manager of Ecobank Ghana in Abrepo in the Ashanti region,Samuel Boadi has been arrested.
[contextly_sidebar id=”qkq8yoEb6v540q60hvlUh4M0BKgSWy6S”]The 20 –year-old Junior High School dropout was arrested at his residence at Pakyi, a town near Kumasi.
The 39 year old victim was killed in his house in what is suspected to be an armed robbery attack.
The armed robbers, numbering four, broke into the residence of the Pastor of the Light House Chapel International(LCI), murdered him and allegedly bolted away with a laptop and some cash.
The Police earlier promised a GHC 5,000 bounty for anyone who offers useful information that will lead to the arrest of the culprits.
Ghana has recorded similar incidents in 2014.
A similar incident happened in Accra where a 32 year old Stanbic Bank worker was killed at Batsona in Accra.
Hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese’s manager Fennec Okyere was also killed in a similar fashion.
A security analyst, Kwesi Anning in an earlier interview with Citi News had predicted that the rising spate of brutal killings in the country would increase.
