Police investigating death of four in cesspit

Police have begun investigations into an incident that led to the death of four people in the Light Industrial Area, North Kaneshie in Accra on Thursday.

[contextly_sidebar id=”8nuo1eMsJIWnDdfFJX7LPRutYmB26xsS”]According to report, the deceased were dislodging materials from a  septic tank that belonged to Blanco Met Recycling Company Limited.

The Public Relations Officer of the Accra Regional Police Command, ASP Afua Tenge, told Citi News that the matter is currently being investigated and therefore encouraged citizens to patiently wait for the outcome.

“It was reported yesterday that four bodies were found in a septic tank around the North Industrial area. We are presently in the investigation period and therefore we should all wait for the out,” she advised

She added that the bodies have been deposited at the Police Mortuary morgue awaiting autopsy.
