Legendary Ghanaian gospel music group, Joyful Way Incorporated (JWI), will be live in concert at the National Theatre, on Friday 26th December, Boxing Day.

The concert, Explosion of Joy 2014, themed: ‘Celebrating the Word’ is a 2014 edition of Joyful Way Incorporated’s annual Explosion of Joy concert, two years on after the trailblazing group marked 4o years of existence.

The adage, life begins after 40, should mean the onset of a new phase and if that is true, in this case very applicable to the renewed forte and focus the celebrated choir showed last year and throughout its activities this year, then patrons should expect another charged atmosphere of worship and praise at Explosion of Joy 2014 on Boxing Day.

Tickets are pegged at GHc 40 just like last year and available at the West Hills Mall and Osu offices of Vodafone, Baatsona Total Fuel Station, Airport Shell and National Theater. Online reservation and delivery are via ticketdoug.com.

There are also discounted ticket packages for students, families and groups via the Joyful Way Incorporated facebook page.

After dominating the gospel music scene in the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s thereby setting the pace for standards in quality inspiring music production and delivery for generations.

JWI has reclined its presence mainly into grassroots evangelism in communities, especially in the rural areas, and schools where it has a very vibrant network of JWI cells.

JWI still occasionally churns out music and albums, the last album being the 2012 timeless award-winning album, Higher Praise.

Join JWI on Boxing Day at the National Theatre, reminisce fondly their rich catalogue of inspirational hits songs and be blown away the surprise of the concert -first time ministration of their brand new single- as we celebrate the word, Jesus the reason for the…. It’s a must attend!
