Ringier Ghana Limited is proud to announce that the twice UEFA Champions League Winning Coach, twice World Coach of the Year, and current coach of the Swiss National Team, Mr. Ottmar Hitzfeld will be in Ghana from Monday March 31, 2014, departing on Wednesday April 2014, to participate in a number of events.
During his stay in Ghana, Ottmar Hitzfeld, who coached legendary Ghanaian soccer stars such as Samuel Osei Kuffour and Opoku Nti, will participate in a number of activities giving him the chance to share his experiences and interact with fans, and the business community, in Ghana.
The General Manager of Ringier Ghana Tim Kollman expressed his delight at the impending visit of the Swiss National Coach “Mr. Hitzfeld has a long relationship with Ghana through his job, even though he has never visited Ghana. He is very excited to be making this trip and he hopes to meet up with his former players, and also interact with fellow World Cup coach, Kwesi Appiah.”
The events scheduled for the period include:
- An Interaction with Coaches and Team Managers of the Premier League Clubs in Ghana on Tuesday April 1, 2014
- Viewing the Champions League Match at the Silverbird cinema with sports fans, stars and dignitaries on Tuesday April 1, 2014
- The official Launch of AllSports.com.gh at the Polo Court on Wednesday April 2, 2014
- A donation at a grassroots Football Charity in Nima on Wednesday April 2, 2014
- A farewell cocktail at the Residence of the Swiss Ambassador on Wednesday April 2, 2014
Senior Executives of Ringier AG, and Swiss Journalists will accompany Mr. Hitzfeld on this historic trip to Ghana.
