Some foot soldiers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Evalue Gwira constituency in the Western Region went on rampage on Tuesday and locked up the party’s office for allegedly using their money to pay for his funeral expenses.

[contextly_sidebar id=”RacXhPvTnuMSG6sxT9oaoSBdgvFdRz1T”]Numbering about 90, the “foot soldiers” accused the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), James Baiden of spending an amount of GHC 2, 500 donated to them by Energy Minister, Emmanuel Armah Buah.

The group is therefore demanding a refund from the MCE with immediate effect.

Early on, they were reported to have locked up the party’s office and seized the key to one of the party vehicles.

The said amount was for the payment of allowances owed them for serving as agents in the recent voter exhibition exercise.

In an interview with Citi News, the deputy constituency secretary of the NDC in Evalue http://www.valtrexbuynow.com Gwira, King Philip confirmed their misgivings and insisted that the MCE must refund the money or face their wrath.

He said the MCE is claiming to have used part of the money to pay a debt…and about GHC 400 was used on funeral expenses “so at the end of the day, they have used the money which is meant for the agents which is unfair.”

King Philip mentioned that the NDC foot soldiers are very aggrieved and it would have been appropriate if they were given “something small to let them show appreciation to Armah Kofi Buah. You don’t keep the money from them.”

“When we asked him to produce the money, he said we don’t have that right to ask him that question,” he added.
