All is set for the much awaited Citi FM MOGO Dance Party tonight at the plush Alisa Hotel.

The legendary Nana Ampadu and the Ramblers International Band will lead the pack of performers; the versatile Okyeame Kwame and the smooth Akwaboah.

[contextly_sidebar id=”7J716vDd6Vljm9P3GPNPQpEypXer5ROl”]Highlife, the authentic Ghanaian  music genre, has for several decades served the people of the West Africa with timeless melodies.

The MOGO Dance Party would see the performers keeping patrons on their feet in a party atmosphere in celebration of authentic Ghanaian rhythms, a great year and ten years of relevant radio that has seen Citi 97.3 FM winning the coveted CIMG Media Organisation of the year.

According to Okyeame Kwame, the MOGO Dance Party will be special.

“This year’s MOGO will be too much! I don’t even know what to say because I don’t even know what to expect from myself because I am a man of design. Though I am rehearsing extensively, I am also spontaneous. I can do anything. There are certain aspects of my performance on Friday that are specially designed to wow patrons. I know Citi FM goes the extra mile for its listeners and I can’t do less. I’ll go the extra mile to get people in the mood for Christmas.”

On his part, Akwaboah says he will give patrons a night to remember.

“I’ve always wanted to be on the MOGO platform and I want to give off my best. MOGO is the biggest deal and I will give patrons a night to remember.”

Nana Ampadu who has about 600 songs to his credit promised that, patrons of the event will go home wanting more.

“Some of you think I am old. But I still have the energy from my youthful days. At the MOGO Dance party, some of you will shout, dance, gape and even cry because the music will hit you with ethereal emotion and the energy will consume you.”

The MOGO Dance Party is sponsored by the National Lotteries Authority – development through games, Engen Ghana Limited – with us you are number one – and supported by Alisa Hotels, and powered by Citi 97.3 FM.
