Miss Ghana 2013, Nadia Ntanu has left Accra for the finals of the Miss World pageant in the United Kingdom.

While in the UK, and before moving into camp which begins on December 14, she will pay a courtesy call on Ghana’s High Commission on Wednesday the 19th of November.

She moves into official Miss World 2014 camping on November 20 just in time to catch up with the over 100 other nationals taking part in the event.

This year’s event is taking place at ExCel London. A heavy Ghanaian presence at the event will be hugely helpful, Exclusive Events have said.

In its 64th year, the 2014 edition comes just a year after Ghana made history by placing third.

Ghana is the current holder of the Miss World Africa title, and Ntanu is expected to put up a convincing all-round performance.

Contestants will take part in series of pre-event activities including a Beauty With a Purpose exercise.
