They were jointly commissioned by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Madina, Alhaji Amadu Sorogoh and the Municipal Chief Executive of La-Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly, Franklin Anku.

Alhaji Amadu Sorogoh, on his part, appealed to the people within the Babayara Township and the Madina-Zongo to develop the culture of maintenance to ensure the foot-bridges lasted longer.

Alhaji  Baba Seidu, the Chief of Madina disclosed that he was contributing to the welfare of the community by constructing a four-classroom Kindergarten block valued at ¢90,000 for the Madina MA No.1 School Complex.

He said that was being done with assistance from the chiefs and people of the Madina Community and the assembly which had promised to provide cement and sand to ensure the kindergarten block was completed within six months.
