Private Radio Station, Joy FM has described Citi FM as a reputable media institution that has achieved a lot within its ten years of existence.
Speaking to Citi News during a friendly visit that saw the presentation of a cake to the station , Kofi Ansah, Director of News Programming at Joy FM said “…you are reputable media institution that has achieved a lot within your ten years of existence and we felt it very important to celebrate this milestone with you so that’s why we visited you to basically celebrate with you and to congratulate you on your 10th anniversary.”

The station,which started operations with just a few hands, has now become one of the most preferred radio stations in Ghana.
Citi FM was recently awarded the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Media Organization of the Year Award – 2013 at the Banquet Hall, State House – Accra. The award confirmed Citi FM as the most influential radio brand in Ghana. One of the station’s flagship programme, the Citi Breakfast Show was also named the CIMG radio programme of the year.
Commenting on the feat chalked by the station, Mr. Ansah said : “We wish you the best, we wish you greater achievement and greater feat. You were adjudged CIMG company or media organisation of the year which is a great achievement. We wish you the best, we wish you great milestone, great achievement. Obviously the sky is supposed to be probably your beginning not your limit so we wish you very well.”
