Citi Business News has gathered that the CEO OF US Tilapia, Godfred Medicine is still in police custody after he was arrested last Thursday.
Godfred Medicine was granted bail by a Kumasi High Court yesterday but has not been able to meet the sureties.
The police picked him up last week in Accra after a warrant for his arrest was issued by a Kumasi High Court.
The Ashanti Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Yussif Mohammed Tanko told Citi Business News Medicine failed to meet the conditions given by the court.
The Company was dragged to court by a number of its clients and investors for failing to honor a promised return on their investment.
US tilapia promised a 100% annual return or a 10% monthly return on invested funds, but failed to do so.
