A 40 year old cocoa farmer from Goalkeeperkrom, Awuku Avie, near Sefwi-Kaase in the Western Region is on the run after allegedly hacking his wife, Madam Abena Ahenefie, to death.
At a press briefing at Sefwi Debiso, in the Bia district, police commander ASP Daniel Wiafe disclosed that the couple live together in the same village, however about a week ago, the wife suspected the husband of having an affair with another woman.

The community and immediate neighbours woke up to see the mutilated body of the victim in her bedroom on Tuesday.
