Ghana’s Black Stars fell two places in the October version of the Coca-Cola FIFA Rankings.

The team moved from 33rd to 35th on the global log despite raking in four points in the AFCON 2015 qualifiers in two matches against Mali.

The new position puts Ghana 5th on the African rankings behind Algeria (15th), Cote d’Ivoire (25th), Tunisia (31st), and Cape Verde (33rd).

Egypt (38th), Cameroon (40th), Senegal (41st), Nigeria (42nd) and Togo (52nd) closed out the top 10 teams on the continent.

The global rankings still have Germany as the top ranked team with 1669 points while Argentina, Colombia, Belgium, and Netherlands are the other teams in the top 5 bracket.

Brazil, France, Uruguay, Portugal and Spain complete the top 10 of the world rankings.

Former World Cup winners Italy and England are 11th and 20th respectively while World Cup 2014 surprise package , Costa Rica, are 16th.
