The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will hold a National Executive Committee Meeting on Tuesday to discuss the party’s upcoming National Delegates Congress.

Today’s NEC meeting follows a Functional Executive Committee meeting held at the party’s head office on Friday October 17.

[contextly_sidebar id=”qR3yue3SW7GnXUmcyT9CMDZkC3sEBUVu”]The NEC meeting will discuss among other things, an out of court settlement of the case pending before a Kumasi High Court which has placed an injunction on the party’s congress.

It will also draw a timetable for the party’s regional and national congresses.

The party returns to court on the October 27 with a proposal for an out of court settlement with one of its members, Njonolah Linus who has dragged the national executives to court for supposedly overstaying their 4 year mandate.

According to Njonolah Linus, the executives were using their authority to disqualify interested party members of the NDC from taking part in the impending elections.

The NDC subsequently postponed its National Delegates Congress which was scheduled for October 25.
